[Albirex (S) S.E.A. Cup Report – 24/25 Brunei Edition]
This marks the second time the event has been held in Brunei Darussalam, and it was co-organized by the Dash Football Academy at the FABD ground on the 20th April 2025.
JIS secured first place in the competition, followed by Indera SC in second and Golden Hawks in third. The event proceeded smoothly, with no reported injuries.
The event had F&B booths, medical team on standby and VIP Room for our guest.
We were honored to host distinguished guests, including a representative from the Japanese Embassy, Mr Kikuta, Mr Pg Haji Kamarunsalehin, Interim President of FABD and the Managing Director of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine System Asia, Mr Murakami. From Albirex.S, Namba san along with Habil was present to witness the tournament.
As for Brunei, 10 players will be selected to form a team to compete in the Grand Finals in Singapore from the 27-29 June 2025.
On another note, Dash Football Academy players and parents were provided tickets to attend the match between Albirex and DPMM Brunei at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium.
Their players also had a football clinic by Albirex representative, Habil, whom conducted a 1.5 hrs session for the Dash Football Academy members of U7-U13 players after the tournament.
