Is this the same as Centre Of Excellence Programme (COE)?

This is a different programme to our COE programme as we welcome all gender & ability. Rest assured, if you are good enough, our Academy coaches will recommend the Albirex COE coaches to invite you for trials.

Do you accept beginners?

We do accept beginners and we welcome player of entry level abilities with open arms!

What if the Lightning Warning System is on or it rains?

Lesson will be forfeited if it over 50% of lesson time. In other situation, we will conduct football activities indoors if it rains heavily but will continue should it be normal pour. Players must bring/wear sports shoes to every training session.

What do we wear to training sessions?

Albirex Academy attire with shin pads and extra sports shoes. No slippers allowed.

As a parent, must i stay to watch the training?

We would encourage but you may also leave your child in our good hands!

I have a medical history, what should i do?

Kindly declare to our admin team & they will inform our coaches accordingly.

Do I have to bring a football?

We highly encourage our players to bring their own football. This is part of their holistic football development. They will be responsible and also master the ball.

Can I wear spectacles during training or matches?

No spectacles allowed. You may use sports goggles or contact lenses.

Do I need to bring shin pads?

Yes.

What do I need to do if I want to quit the academy?

You have to inform our coach at least 4 training sessions in advance.

What if I have a complaint or feedback to make?

You may write in to our Academy Director at habil_hakim@fc.albirex.com.sg and we will take up to 3 working days to reply.
